Beginners generally have a 30-minute lesson.  Classical repertoire for beginners and arrangements of popular music are used to teach proper playing posture and hand position, as well as learning how to read.  These essential skills set the beginner on the road to developing into a fine player.  Intermediate to Advanced players will delve into more challenging repertoire and the techniques to support these pieces.

Whether you are just beginning, intermediate or advanced, the Studio has a truly extensive music library.  This wonderful resource will help you continue to develop as a player and provide opportunities for you to explore centuries of great guitar music. 

Class meets every two months at the Studio.  This is a relaxed opportunity to share with other students what you’ve been working on.  Many students report that these classes help them overcome anxiety and perform with greater poise.  It also exposes them to new pieces that they might want to learn.  Participants experience the support and encouragement of other players and enjoy getting to know one another.  Finally, performance classes help students prepare for the annual recital.
